Do We Need Counselling Services?
Our clients often ask “Do we need counselling?” or “Will counselling services help me?” However, one of the most harmful stigmas within society is that to be “strong” we should stay quiet about the emotional challenges we are experiencing. On the other hand, science demonstrates that bottled up emotion is actually one of the worst things that we can do to our body and mind!
Counselling has been proven to be beneficial, not just for specific mental health disorders but for a wide array of life difficulties such as relationship breakdown, times of transition and unexpected life events. Research shows that during those challenging times, human connection is one of the most important factors in getting through.
